Retirement Know-How

A non-profit program providing advanced retirement education

Who We Are

Our Retirement Education Courses aren’t your typical seminar or workshop. We’re a charity, meaning our mission is to better the financial acumen of the communities we call home. In these advanced courses, we’ll spend over eight hours with you exploring real retirement strategies you can apply to your own situation; you won’t find any “one-size-fits-all” solutions here. Sign up and learn how you can live the retirement you’ve earned.

Proudly Supporting Folds of Honor

Retirement Education Foundation is proud to announce a partnership with Folds of Honor. Your $29 tuition goes directly to this esteemed organization to support educational scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled service members.

Tuition is $29 Proceeds from Courses go to Charity

Through our Retirement Education Course you’ll discover tools needed to have the best retirement possible. You’ll also learn how to avoid many of the mistakes other retirees and pre-retirees make, such as sequence-of-return risk — one of the biggest threats to a Baby Boomer’s retirement — and allowing short-term market events to impact your spending and investing decisions. Remember: Income is what will drive your performance in retirement, not the investment you choose.

If you registered to attend in person, you will receive 8 hours of instruction in a classroom setting, along with a 200-page textbook. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual course is available, providing 8 hours of instruction from the comfort of your own home. You will also gain access to our e-Learning platform, which includes all course materials.

These advanced courses are appropriate for ages 50+ with a minimum of $250K of investable assets. Be prepared: They move fast!

Testimonials

Be prepared to commit the full day to the course. It is very informative. You need to attend it with your spouse. Both need to be committed. It made us think about how we invest and shouldn't purchase anything where we would not get our money out of it - like insurance. I am concerned for long term care and your plan for that was helpful.
